Herd is a social trading interface for prediction markets. This policy explains the information we handle when you use our website and app.

Information we handle

We may receive account details from your sign-in provider, wallet addresses linked to your account, profile and social activity you choose to create, and transaction, position, balance, and market activity needed to provide the service. Payment or funding providers process payment details under their own policies; Herd does not store full card details.

We may also collect limited technical information such as device type, referral source, campaign parameters, diagnostics, and security events. We do not use the public website to collect wallet addresses, fingerprint visitors, or build cross-site advertising profiles.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure Herd, connect your account to supported wallets and venues, display balances and activity, execute actions you request, recover incomplete operations, support social features, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing and public activity

We share information with service providers that operate authentication, wallets, hosting, analytics, payments, blockchains, and trading venues only as needed to provide Herd. Wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are public by nature. Content you publish, such as a trade thesis or public profile activity, may be visible to other users. Herd does not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, recovery, accounting, and legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service or blockchain transaction can be guaranteed completely secure or reversible.

Your choices

You can choose what social content to publish and can disconnect or stop using Herd. You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible account information through Herd support. Some records may need to be retained, and public blockchain records cannot be deleted by Herd.

Changes

We may update this policy as Herd changes. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
